Registration for the 2027 Basketball and Cheerleading season opens August 9, 2026. Upward gives kids a fun, encouraging place to build athletic skills, learn teamwork, and grow in values that matter beyond the game.

Program Details
- Basketball: K4 through 7th grade
- Cheerleading: Girls K4 through 7th grade
- First practices: Week of January 11, 2027
- First games: Week of January 18, 2027
Basketball Evaluations
Every basketball player must attend one evaluation. Evaluations should take approximately 15 minutes.
- Thursday, December 10, 2026, 5:00–7:00 PM
- Tuesday, December 15, 2026, 6:00–8:00 PM
- Tuesday, January 5, 2027, 6:00–8:00 PM
Cheerleading
Cheerleaders do not attend an evaluation. Cheer practices are held once per week on Tuesday evenings, and families will hear from a coach in January.
Registration Fees
Early registration ends January 5, 2027:
- Basketball: $140
- Cheerleading: $150
After January 5: Basketball and cheerleading are $175 per participant.
Families receive $10 off the second child, $10 off the third child, and $10 off each additional child.
